Job Title : Principal Consultant - Retail Banking

Salary : £85 - £103k + Bens

Highly successful and prestigious independent consultancy is seeking candidates with experience in RETAIL BANKING who are used to working in a project environment .

The role will include Project Delivery - playing a leading role in the delivery of projects, programmes and / or business advisory roles at leading Financial Services institutions.

Ability to add significant value to clients by drawing on previous experience and knowledge capital. Lead , manage and develop both the Retail Banking industry team unit and various other Group initiatives. Take responsibility to develop client relationships and actively seek out opportunities for sales at existing clients . Ability to use own contact network.

Market and Industry knowledge:

• Mortgages, credit cards, savings and Investment products
• Offshoring and business processes
• Business Process Rationalisation and Operational Improvement
• Human Performance Improvement Methods and practice.

Candidates:

It is essential that candidates have a thorough understanding of the products, processes, systems and players in the Retail Financial Services market , especially Retail Banking. A specialist knowledge of UK Retail Banking and ideally will also have a good understanding of distribution and retail customer administration. Strong knowledge of the key outsource partners for banking services. Also a wide network of executive contacts through which to sell work and build the brand.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of many of the following:

• Defining and implementing distribution and operational strategies including Wrap.
• Creating , shaping, negotiating and implementing outsourcing deals and strategic alliances
• New product development and launch
• Customer retention.
